Tiosh Abaj
Tiosh Abaj, the name of our resort, is a Tzutujil word (Mayan language) which means "Sacred Stone". This sacred stone marker is in the form of a jaguar. It is located on the shores of the beautiful Lake Atitlan, in the town of Santiago Atitlán, State of Sololá, 140 kilometers (90 miles) from Guatemala City. On the other side of the lake, opposite to the jaguar stone, stands a panoramic view of the majestic volcano of San Pedro.
Tiosh Abaj can accommodate individuals or large groups who wish to enjoy our extensive facility that includes a four-level hotel with views of the lake, as well as group meeting rooms and classrooms where conferences and classes, activities, and programs can be offered.
With a pool, abundant outdoor patios, and sacred rock formations amidst elaborate gardens, travelers can relax and rejuvenate while enjoying the tropical weather and ever-changing skies of this magical place.
